In this episode, Bulma (Lena), Goku (Zero), and Oolong (Mao-Mao) travel to a desert on their way to the next dragon ball.
But they are attacked by a bandit named Yamcha (Zedaki) and his pal Puar (Squeaker).
I have no idea why they changed their names to Zedaki and Squeaker. I mean, Puaru has a squeaky voice, so I guess that’s understandable. But Zedaki comes out of left field.
In any case, this is another exciting episode of the Harmony Gold Dub.
And as it happens, the final one to be dubbed.
At least, that we know of.
It’s possible that more than five episodes were dubbed, but there’s no concrete evidence for it.
And every person I’ve spoken to at Harmony Gold, or who worked on the dub as voice actors, either weren’t there at the time or say they don’t recall any details about it.
So I guess we’ll have to wait and see what fate has in store for us in the years ahead.
