The gameplay includes in-game transformations, destructible environments, swimming through the water, technique canceling, and in-game conversations.

Capsule Corporation seems to play a part in the story with a young man who wears their iconic logo on his jacket.

His origin and role in the game is currently unknown, but will be key to the story.

The game is expected to release in 2015 on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360.

The trailer is voiced by FUNimation voice director Christopher Sabat, which suggests a strong release in both the United States and Europe.

My Thoughts

The graphics are certainly impressive, but even with Dimps in control I’m concerned it will be the same as the previous DBZ games.

However, given that there is no ‘Z’ in the title makes me believe that we’ll also experience some of the fights from the original DB and DBGT.

What do you think of Dragon Ball Xenoverse so far?

who is the new character at the end of the trailer?

I believe they mentioned something about being able to create your own character. It might be a custom character?

    • Nobody knows. He’s a mystery character that is getting the fans to speculate. But Namco-Bandai has confirmed that he is integral to the story, so he’s not just some random character.

I’m concerned the combat will the exact same as Battle of Z, and I hated that combat because it was so boring. Hopefully it’ll be more like the Tenkiichi Tag Team combat and less like Battle of Z’s combat.
