New Dragon Ball Z Film Receives English Dub

FUNimation has announced that the new Dragon Ball Z film is coming to the United States with an English dub in the summer of 2015.

Prior to the English dub hitting theaters, the world premiere of the Japanese film with English subtitles will occur on April 11 in Los Angeles, California.

Tickets for the premiere sold out in less than 1 hour. But the event begins at 10:30 am with a red carpet and meet and greet with the stars, followed by the film at 12:30 pm.

According to the Order Tickets page:

The English dub of the new film will be released in theaters across North America in summer 2015.

Time to get excited!!

We’re going to see this in theaters!

Also note that the official name of the film is “Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’.” There is no “of” in the title, as you would expect from a literal translation of “Fukkatsu no F.”

It’s nice to see FUNimation and Tōei working together. I’m glad that the film is coming this summer and that we don’t have to wait a year for the English dub, like we did with Battle of Gods.

No announcements of theatrical releases have been made, nor a nationwide premiere date, but FUNimation will announce them as that date approaches.

Are you excited to see it in theaters? I’ll be there opening night!

Im sooo confused about a few things. 1st is the last episode of dbz after or before battle of gods. 2nd you say we had to wait a year for the English dub so that means there is a engish dub for battle of gods?

When did they even announce that the tickets were on sale? Idgaf, I’m going! If my luck is any good as last year’s, I’ll be taking another selfie with Vegeta!

Can you please tell me who Broly is, I have never seen the dbz movies so I have no clue who he is. I think somewhere I heard he was gokus brother or something?

  6. mike keller says:

wait wait wait. in the trailer above frieza is alive, I thought he was dead in hell????

    • Yeah, that’s the surprise and mystery. We’re waiting to discover how he comes back.

Although to be precise, he was only in hell in GT and the movies; not the canonical manga written by Toriyama.

      • mike keller says:

are you sure because I remember after the cell saga where goku dies he goes to other world and correct me if im wrong, he falls to hell and sees freza and cell and freezas dad

        • Malik_DBNA says:

That only occurs in the anime, which is notorious for contradictory filler.

          • sūn wùkōng says:

the anime has alot of fillers as at the time of manga releases, they progressed as chapters & didn’t want to get ahead of themselves.

        • sūn wùkōng says:

lol, son gokū & pikkon are sent by dai kaiō “grand king of realms” to hell to extinguish freeza & cell for disrupting balance.

        • sūn wùkōng says:

also, son gokū asks for a lift on snake way & rests on the back of a pick-up truck str8 divine farmer & falls into hell. he then has to race the oni/ogres in hell to learn of a way back so that he can continue his enlightening spiritual journey, eating a legendary ensenji fruit that apparently only enma daiō eats — transcending the lower realm, back on his quest to the higher realm/north kaiō’s planet

hey,is there any news for dbz live action……we really need it……..watch light of hope…..it’s awesome!!!!!!

  8. 123go says:

do you know any dbz mmo games?

    • This is unrelated to the topic of the post. But the answer is Dragon Ball Online, which is no longer active. However, the content of the game was appropriated into Dragon Ball Xenoverse, so if you’d like to play an action RPG in the DBZ world, then Xenoverse is your best bet.
